Welcome to The Mead Institute of Professional Learning. We are the training, coaching, and development arm of The Mead Educational Trust, dedicated to supporting adults, post-16 learners, and volunteers with professional development opportunities designed to help them reach their full potential. Our programmes are available both online and in person.

The Institute serves as a hub for the Leicester and Leicestershire Teaching School Hub and the Leicestershire Secondary School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT), which are also part of The Mead Educational Trust. Through these we are proud to offer National Professional Qualifications (NPQs), governance training, and a range of programmes to support career growth and system leadership.
